I have worked in Healthcare for most of my career, mainly as a Registered Nurse Managing Aged Care Facilities in New Zealand. This combined my diverse clinical and administration skills with, for me, the rewarding role of providing quality care.

In 2018 I moved to North Brisbane and utilized those same admin and people skills as an Receptionist/Admin in a busy Psychology & Counselling practice. I am now aiming to use all I have learned to find myself a more flexible and rewarding working life.

I have a warm, friendly manner, I love a challenge, and to be busy. I pride myself on being very organized and highly professional, but behind it all, and so important to me, always with the aim of remembering how essential the ‘care’ side of the health sector is to the clients I have contact with.

Yes—it’s true—I genuinely love admin!

There’s something incredibly satisfying about turning chaos into calm and finding smarter, simpler ways to get things done. Whether it’s organising systems, streamlining processes, or creating order behind the scenes, this is where I thrive.

My admin journey began as a receptionist at a tiny accounting firm by the Brisbane River, and from that very first day, I was hooked. I spent 20 years in the finance world before moving into psychology and counselling clinics, where I’ve worked for the past 15 years. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of how to keep small businesses running smoothly—and how to support the people behind them.

I’ve been lucky to work with some amazing people over the years, and it’s taught me that finding the right team matters just as much as having the right skills
